NO. 13 ECKERD KNOCKS OFF NO. 26 PRESBYTERIAN 7-2
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The No. 13 Eckerd College men's tennis team improved its record to 13-1 on the season with its 7-2 victory over No. 26 Presbyterian College on Thursday afternoon. The Blue Hose drop to 5-5 on the season after completing their Spring Break trip through the state of Florida.
Senior Nick Osborne (Hutton Rudby, England) accounted for both of PC’s points in the match as he defeated Nikola Vujovic 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. Osborne and fellow senior Kshitij Dwivedi (New Delhi, India) defeated Sebastian Niedermayer and Vujovic 9-8 (4) at No. 2 doubles.
The Blue Hose return to action on Thursday, March 23 with a trip to Newberry, S.C. to take on Newberry College at 2:00 pm.
