SAC CHAMPIONSHIP

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose captured their third consecutive Food Lion South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Men’s Tennis Tournament Championship as PC defeated Carson-Newman College, 5-0, in the finals Friday evening.

The Blue Hose, who have now won six tournament titles since 1998, took an early 3-0 lead by sweeping all of the doubles matches played against the Eagles.  PC completed the sweep by winning at number three and six singles.

The Blue Hose improve to 14-6 on the season, while the Eagles fall to 14-5.
