PC Men's Tennis Wins Sixth Straight
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – No. 20
Presbyterian College used a strong showing in singles,
winning 5-of-6 matches, to drop the Eagles 7-2 Saturday
afternoon at the Carson-Newman Tennis Complex.
The Blue Hose improved to 11-4 on the season and
remain 4-0 in South Atlantic Conference play. The Eagles
fall to 8-6 overall and 1-4 in SAC action.
PC's Aaron Chapman won at
No. 1 singles with a score of 7-5, 6-1 to improve to 11-3 on
the season. At No. 6 singles, Adam Herendeen remains
undefeated on the season at
No. 6 singles and improved to 2-0 after defeating
Carson-Newman's
John Borthick
7-6, 3-6, 10-6. PC's
Patrick Fediuk improved to 12-3 with the
6-2, 7-5 victory over Preston Sneed at No. 4 singles.
The Blue Hose
return to action at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 1 against
Tusculum in Greeneville, Tenn.
