PC's Matthew Martin Named SAC Men's Tennis Player Of The Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Matthew Martin
of Presbyterian College has been named the South Atlantic
Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week announced league
officials Tuesday.
Martin, a freshman from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada,
defeated Catawba's Sean Soltan 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles in
Presbyterian's conference opening victory. Martin and No. 1
doubles partner Aaron Chapman were victorious in its match
with Jose Velazquez and Drew Ramsey.
The SAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week is selected by a
vote of the league's eight sports information directors.
