Brackets Announced For 2007 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Tournament

ROCK HILL, SC - Presbyterian College, which went undefeated in conference play, received the No. 1 seed in next week's Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Tournament, where they will attempt to win their fourth consecutive tournament championship.

Presbyterian College (6-0 SAC, 14-5) is ranked 30th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Fila rankings. As the top seed, the Blue Hose receive a bye to the semifinal round.

Tusculum College (5-1 SAC, 12-5), ranked 39th, earned the second seed and will face seventh-seed Wingate (0-6, 4-15) in Monday's quarterfinal action.

Newberry College (4-2, 6-7) is the third seed and will face sixth-seed Carson-Newman (1-5, 7-7) in a quarterfinal match on Monday.

Catawba College (3-3, 18-5) is the fourth seed and will host fifth-seed Mars Hill (2-4, 8-8) in another quarterfinal match on Monday.

The semifinals and finals will be held at Mars Hill College on Friday, April 20.

The semifinals will begin at 9 a.m., with the semifinal winners meeting for the tournament championship at 2:30 p.m.

The tournament winner will receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Tournament.
