PC Softball Signs Two
CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College softball coach Dave
Majeski recently announced two signings from the Orlando,
Fla. area to his first ever spring class at PC.
Joining Majeski’s program
will be Morgan White of Edgewater High School and Amanda
Miller of Boone High School in Orlando.
White, the daughter of
Kristi and Jim White, comes to PC as a shortstop. A
four-year varsity starter and two-year team captain, White
was named second team All-Florida in the 6A classification
last year as a junior.
White hit .473 last year
for Edgewater after hitting .467 her sophomore campaign. A
true student-athlete, White is in the top five percent of
her graduating class.
“We are very excited about
Morgan deciding to help us build our program at PC,” said
Majeski. “She is extremely talented and I believe that she
will make an immediate impact with the Lady Blue Hose.”
Miller joins former Boone
High standout Paige Cassady at PC. A shortstop in high
school, Miller is the daughter of Glen and Cathy Miller.
The captain of the
volleyball and softball teams at Boone, Miller was named
first team All-Conference and in 2005 and 2006 and second
team All-County in 2006.
“Amanda brings a great
deal of excitement to our program,” noted Majeski. “We are
very lucky to have her choose Presbyterian College and we
look for spectacular things from her on the diamond next
year.”
