Entering her second year of service at Presbyterian, Assistant Athletic Trainer Heide Zeiser has accepted the additional position of Senior Women’s Administrator as offered by PC Director of Athletics Dr. William “Bee” Carlton.

“I am so pleased that Ms. Zeiser has agreed to serve in this key role and assume these responsibilities,” noted Carlton. “She has already proven to be a valued member of our staff who has earned the respect of our coaches and student-athletes. She will be a great addition to the senior staff in our department.”

Zeiser worked primarily with the women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse teams in 2005, but helped with the overall needs of the student-athletes from all 16 varsity sports on day-to-day injury and rehabilitation needs.

The Daytona, Beach, Fla. native arrived at PC after a one-year stint at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va. during the 2004-05 academic year. Zeiser was a sports medicine intern at VCU, working closely with the Ram volleyball and men’s and women’s track & field programs.

Prior to VCU, she was an intern with the Auburn University Sports Medicine office in Auburn, Ala., for two years. During her first year at Auburn, Zeiser worked with women's soccer and both basketball squads. Her primary concern was the Tiger women’s soccer team in her second year.

During her time at Auburn, Zeiser served as a co-sports medicine director for the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Men's and Women's Diving Championships and the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Diving Zone as well as the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.

Zeiser earned a bachelors of science in Health Science from Clemson University in 1998 and a master’s in Sports Medicine from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Ala., in 2004.

She is a member of both the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers Association (SCATA).
