Trimpe Named Assistant Volleyball Coach At PC

CLINTON, S.C. - Presbyterian College volleyball head coach Chris Belshe announced the hiring of Megan Trimpe as an assistant coach on Tuesday. Trimpe’s on-court responsibilities will be to assist the Lady Blue Hose setters, while also serving as the Recruiting & Academic Coordinator.

“I am very excited to have Megan join my staff,” said Belshe. “She brings with her a high level of professionalism, organization and energy. I know that she will have an immediate impact on the current PC roster and the future of the women’s volleyball program.”

Trimpe graduated Magna Cum Laude from Illinois College with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.

A native of Bloomington, Ill., Trimpe was a four-year letterwinner as a setter on the volleyball team at Illinois College. She holds the career assist record (4,747) for the Lady Blues.

During her intercollegiate career she also gained international experience while studying abroad, playing a semester at the University of Nottingham.

Trimpe participated in four-years of Illinois Junior Volleyball Club while at Normal Community High School.
