More than
350 players, coaches, media, support staff and special guests
attended this years function, which tips off the final
rounds of the tournament, to be played Friday and Saturday,
March 2-3, in the CVCC Multipurpose Facility. As part of the
festivities, five new members were inducted into The South
Atlantic Conference Hall of Fame. Presbyterian College center Rachel Sloan (Greenville, SC), the womens Player of the Year, also had a record-setting season and career. She leaves as The South Atlantic Conferences all-time leader in field goals made. She is one of seven players to record more than 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career. She ranked in the top 10 in five different categories and was named Player of the Week five times. 2000-01
