WOODS BECOMES THIRD SIGNEE WITH
 
BLUE HOSE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

CLINTON, SC — Sarah Woods has signed a national letter of intent to play women’s basketball at Presbyterian College announced today by 12th-year head coach Beth Couture.

Woods, a 5-9 guard/forward from Florence, KY, becomes the third signee for the Blue Hose this season. Woods played at the Calvary Christian High School in Covington, KY for head coach Dave Stockman. She helped Calvary Christian to a program-record 25-6 record this season.

Individually, Woods averaged 17.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 7.2 assists en route to All-Region honors as a senior.

Woods joins Dana Birnie of Suwanee, GA, and Noel Livernois of Greenwood, SC who have already signed with the Blue Hose.

Presbyterian, led by 12th-year head coach Beth Couture who owns a 237-108 career record in 12 seasons, is coming off this past season’s 22-8 campaign and a runner-up finish in the South Atlantic Conference regular season. Presbyterian finished the season ranked #23 in the USA Today/WBCA NCAA Division II Top 25.
