PRESBYTERIAN’S SLOAN NAMED TO
DISNEY TIP-OFF CLASSIC ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

CLINTON, S.C. — Presbyterian College women’s basketball player Rachel Sloan has been named to the Disney NCAA Division II Tip-off Classic All-Tournament Team announced today.

Sloan, a 6-0 senior forward from Greenville, S.C., has been selected after averaging 20.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists while shooting 46.8% from the field and 77.3% from the free throw line for the tournament.

Sloan helped the Blue Hose to a 1-2 mark at the tournament, losing to #2 North Dakota State University 66-51, defeating Lake Superior State University 92-80, and losing to #14 Texas A&M-Kingsville 72-63.

Presbyterian returns to action this Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm as they host the Low Country All-Stars in exhibition basketball action.
