BLUE HOSE BASKETBALL LISTED AMONG NCAA LEADERS
PC’s Leopard and Werner rank among NCAA’s best in latest statistics

CLINTON, SC — Presbyterian College men’s and women’s basketball teams are listed among the NCAA Division II leaders in the latest statistics announced this week.

The women’s basketball team (8-1), led by 13th-year head coach Beth Couture, is 20th in team free throw percentage (73.9%), 24th in scoring margin (+16.75), 30th in team three-pointers made per game (6.13), tied for 30th in scoring defense (56.5 pts/gm), and 40th in team three-point percentage (37.1%).

Individually, senior Toni Leopard (Ninety-Six, SC) is sixth in free throw percentage (96.7%) and 40th in points per game (18.75). Fellow Blue Hose player, sophomore Bonnie Werner (Kennesaw, GA) was 23rd in free throw percentage (91.4%).
