HOSE BASKETBALL LISTED AMONG NCAA LEADERS
PC’s Leopard returns to first in NCAA Division II in free
throw percentage
CLINTON,
SC — Presbyterian College women’s basketball team is
listed among the NCAA Division II leaders in the latest
statistics announced this week.
Individually, senior Toni
Leopard (Ninety-Six, SC), who led the nation two weeks
ago in free throw percentage, moved back to first place this
week in free throw percentage (92.2%) and is tied for 48th in
points per game (17.9). Leopard hit 14-of-14 free throws last
week in two games.
The women’s basketball
team (15-7), led by 13th-year head coach Beth
Couture, is 23rd in team free throw percentage
(73.8%).
