BLUE HOSE BASKETBALL LISTED AMONG NCAA LEADERS 
PC’s Leopard drops to 2nd in NCAA Division II in free throw percentage

CLINTON, SC — Presbyterian College men’s and women’s basketball teams are listed among the NCAA Division II leaders in the latest statistics announced this week.

Individually, senior Toni Leopard (Ninety-Six, SC), who led the nation last week in free throw percentage, dropped to second place in free throw percentage (90.9%) and is tied for 45th in points per game (17.4).

Fellow Blue Hose player, sophomore Bonnie Werner (Kennesaw, GA) is tied for 27th in assists (5.2).

The women’s basketball team (14-6), led by 13th-year head coach Beth Couture, is 18th in team free throw percentage (73.8%). The Blue Hose move up seven spots from last week when they ranked 27th in the same category.
