BLUE HOSE
WOMENS HOOPS RETURNS TO
NCAA
DIVISION II SOUTH
ATLANTIC REGION POLL AT #10
CLINTON,
SC Presbyterian College womens basketball team
returned to the NCAA Division II South Atlantic Region Poll
this week announced today.
The Blue Hose, ranked #10
in this weeks poll, are 12-6 overall, 4-3 in the South
Atlantic Conference this season and are coming off a 97-42 win
over Newberry College at home January 31, 2002. Presbyterian
had been absent from the poll that last few weeks.
Presbyterian continues to
play one of the toughest region schedules in the nation,
having played six of the top 10 teams in this weeks region
poll (#1 Mars Hill, #2 USC Aiken, #4 Fayetteville State, #6
Catawba, #7 Columbus State, and #9 Lenoir-Rhyne).
PC returns to action on
Saturday, February 2, 2002 as they host the Lady Pioneers of
Tusculum College at 2:00 pm to begin the second half of the
SAC regular season schedule.
