Skyhawks defeat Presbyterian College, 82-63

WEST PALM BEACH, FL. - The Fort Lewis College women's basketball team kept the ball rolling this afternoon, winning their third consecutive game with a 82-63 win over Presbyterian College (Clinton, SC) in the Trip Sports Cruzin' Classic. Fort Lewis College improves to 6-2 on the season while PC falls to 2-7.

The Skyhawks led by two at the half, 37-35, and went on a scoring spree in the second half, netting 45 points to the Blue Hose's 28. Leading the Skyhawks offensive attack was Amy Mohr (Fort Collins) with 18 points and one rebound shy of a double-double. Red shirt freshman Jamie Pratt came off the bench to net 16 points in 14 minutes. Pratt was unstoppable, nailing on all six attempts, four of which came from downtown. Teammate Amie Moulton (Mesa, Ariz.) chipped in 13 points and four rebounds.

Four Blue Hose players scored in double digits, with Billie Haskins (Greensboro, GA) scoring 18 points on 6 of 13 shooting.

As a team, Fort Lewis College was hot from the floor, netting 52.5 percent (32 of 61) of their shots. Presbyterian College made 16 of 48 from the field and 5 of 10 from three-point land.
