PRESBYTERIAN’S BILLIE HASKINS NAMED SAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK 

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Billie Haskins of Presbyterian College has been named this week's South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week announced league officials Monday.

Haskins, a 5-8 junior guard from Greensboro, Ga. (Gatewood School), scored 22 points against North Greenville College to lead the Blue Hose to their second win of the season with a 108-66 victory.  Haskins tallied four rebounds, five assists and two steals while shooting 5-for-6 from three-point range. 

For the season, she is averaging 17.7 points, four rebounds and 3.9 assists per game, while shooting 41.2 percent from 3-point territory and 88.2 percent from the free throw line. 

The SAC Player of the Week is selected by a vote of the league's eight sports information directors.
