BLUE HOSE BASKETBALL LISTED AMONG NCAA LEADERS
PC’s Haskins ranked 14th in the nation in 3-Point FG% 

CLINTON, S.C. — Presbyterian College basketball teams is listed among the NCAA Division II leaders in the latest statistics announced this week. 

The women’s basketball team (8-10, 4-3  SAC), junior guard Billie Haskins (Greensboro, Ga.) is 14th in the nation in three-point field goal percentage (43.2%). The team is ranked 30th in the nation in free throw percentage at 74.5%. 

The women’s basketball team returns to action tonight as they host the All-Stars of Converse College at 6:00 pm in non-conference action. The Blue Hose men’s and women’s basketball teams return to South Atlantic Conference action this Saturday, February 8 as they travel to Greeneville, Tenn. to take on Tusculum College. The women’s game is set to tip-off at 2:00 pm with the men’s game to start approximately at 4:00 pm.  

On the men’s basketball team (19-4, 5-2 SAC) led by 14th-year head coach Gregg Nibert, dropped one spot to fourth in the nation in scoring defense (57.5 pts/gm) and are 22nd in field goal percentage defense (40.2%) for the second straight week. The team is also 22nd in win-loss percentage (81.8%), and 26th in three-point field goal percentage (39.6%). 

In PC’s 88-70 win over North Greenville College Monday night, the Blue Hose hit 18-of-38 three-point field goals from the field. The 18 made three-pointers is tied for 3rd-best in NCAA Division II this season for a single-game.
