BLUE HOSE BASKETBALL LISTED AMONG NCAA STATISTICAL LEADERS 

CLINTON, S.C. — Presbyterian College men’s and women’s basketball teams are listed among the NCAA Division II leaders in the latest statistics announced this week.

The Blue Hose men’s basketball team (11-4, 1-0 SAC), led by 17th-year head coach Gregg Nibert, is 20th in the nation rebound margin (+7.1 rpg).

The Lady Blue Hose women’s basketball team (12-2, 1-0 SAC), led by 2nd-year head coach Jessica Vanco, is 7th in the nation in rebound margin (+10.5), 20th in field goal percentage (45.7%), 28th in scoring offense (75.9 ppg), 35th in scoring margin (+13.9), and 36th in team three-point field goal percentage (36.2%).

Individually, sophomore guard Bridget Takach (Chapin, S.C.) is fifth nationally in three-point field goal percentage (47.5%).

The PC men’s and women’s basketball teams return to South Atlantic Conference action tomorrow, Wednedsay, January 11 with a road game against the Bulldogs of Wingate University. Tip-off is set for 6:00 pm in the women’s game and 8:00 pm in the men’s game. Both contests will be carried live on the Internet at PC’s athletic website: www.presby.edu/bluehose.
