Tuesday, January 24, 2006 BLUE HOSE BASKETBALL LISTED AMONG NCAA STATISTICAL LEADERS CLINTON, S.C. — Presbyterian College men’s and women’s basketball teams are listed among the NCAA Division II leaders in the latest statistics announced this week. The Blue Hose men’s basketball team (13-6, 3-2 SAC), led by 17th-year head coach Gregg Nibert, is 36th in the nation rebound margin (+5.9 rpg). Individually, senior center Johann Collins (Raleigh, N.C.) ranks 55th nationally in free throw percentage (83.2%). The Lady Blue Hose women’s basketball team (15-3, 4-1 SAC), led by 2nd-year head coach Jessica Vanco, is 6th in the nation in rebound margin (+10.4), 28th in scoring offense (74.8 ppg), 26th in win/loss percentage (83.3%), 31st in field goal percentage (44.6%), 34th in three-point field goal percentage (36.2%), and 38th in scoring margin (+12.3 ppg). The PC men’s and women’s basketball teams return to South Atlantic Conference action tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25 with a pair of road games against the Pioneers of Tusculum College.
