PC WOMEN’S TEAM & USC SPARTANBURG MEN’S TEAM CLAIM WINS AT FIRST ANNUAL PC INVITATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY MEET UNCP’s Jimenez & USCS’ Dimsdale take individual honors

CLINTON, SC — Presbyterian College women’s cross country team and the men’s cross country team from USC Spartanburg won the team titles at the first annual PC Invitational Cross Country Meet held on campus Saturday morning.

The Blue Hose scored 61 points to take the title while Lander finished second with 76 points. PC placed five runners in the top 20 to take their third title in four meets this season. PC is currently ranked #4 in the Southeast Region.

Individually, Jennifer Dimsdale of USC Spartanburg finished first with a 5K mark of 19:24.63. Second place went to Lander’s Emily Keith (19:42.57) and third was PC’s freshman Tanitha Forrester (Lexington, SC) with a 19:45.16 time.
