BLUE
HOSE CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS CONTINUE REGION RANKINGS
Both teams prepare for this weekends SAC
Championships
CLINTON,
SC Presbyterian College womens cross
country team, fresh off a first place finish at the
Erskine Invitational on October 19, maintained their
#4 region ranking in the latest NCAA Division II
Southeast Region rankings announced today.
The
Blue Hose womens team, under the direction of
third-year head coach Leigh Irwin, have won four of
the six meets they have entered this season.
Both
teams continue preparations this week for the 2000
South Atlantic Conference Cross Country
Championships this Saturday, October 28 in
Greeneville, TN. The championship meet is part of
the first annual SAC Fall Festival which brings
together the mens and womens cross country,
mens and womens soccer, and womens
volleyball teams in the conference for their
tournament championships in a Olympic-style setting.
