PC’S WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM WINS FIRST MEET IN PROGRAM HISTORY AT LANDER/CONNIE MAXWELL CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

GREENWOOD, S.C. — Presbyterian College's women’s & men’s cross country teams had a monumental day as the women’s team posted its first meet victory in program history at the Lander University/Connie Maxwell Invitational.

The Lady Blue Hose took their first meet victory in the four-year history of the program.  Freshman Tanith Forrester (Lexington, SC), after leading throughout the meet, finished in second place two seconds behind USCS’s Jennifer Dimsdale.

Sophomore Katie Lenhart (Atlanta, GA) finished sixth while teammates freshman Grace Mitchell (Summerfield, NC) was seventh, junior Alison Outz (Pauline, SC) was eighth, and senior Heather Sherer (Laurens, SC) was 10th.
