HOSE WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM SIXTH IN REGION RANKINGS
CLINTON,
S.C. — The Presbyterian College women’s cross country
team is ranked sixth in the first NCAA Division II Southeast
Region poll released today.
The Blue Hose opened the
season this past Saturday with a third place finish at the
2003 Eye Opener Meet held in Spartanburg, S.C. PC was led by
senior Tanith Forrester
(Lexington, S.C.) placing 15th with a time of 21:04.25 and
freshman Tina DeYoe
(Palm Coast, Fla.) placing 21st with a time of 21:26.66. The
women posted a total time of 1:51:35.08 with the average time
for all runners at 22:19.02.
Presbyterian College
returns to action this weekend at the Lander University/Connie
Maxwell Invitational in Greenwood, S.C.
