CROSS COUNTRY TO TAKE PART IN CLINTON,
S.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s and women’s
cross country teams will take part in the 2005 NCAA Division
II Southeast Regional Meet on Saturday morning on the campus
of Wingate University. The
women’s race will begin at 9:30 am, followed by the men’s
race at 10:30. The
men’s squad, who took a fourth place finish last weekend at
the South Atlantic Conference championships, are led by junior
Matthew Elliott (Green Sea,
SC), who has placed in the top ten individually in six of the
seven races this season. The
women’s team, who enters the meet after a sixth place finish
in the SAC Championships last week, are led by junior Kari
Koch (Conyers,
Ga.), who has finished in the top 20 in three of the seven
meets this season. |
