WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY 10^TH IN REGIONAL POLL

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s cross-country team, coming off a second-place finish at the 17^th Annual Francis Marion University Women’s Cross Country Invitational Meet on last Saturday, remained in the 10^th spot of the NCAA Division II Cross Country Coaches Association Southeast Regional Poll for the second consecutive week.

There was a bit of shuffling in the poll as Carson-Newman College moved up three spots to claim No. 1, while last week’s top team, Wingate University, dropped to second.  Converse College also made a jump as the All-Stars earned a No. 6 ranking after being eighth last week.

Mars Hill College dropped from second to third, Lenoir-Rhyne College fell from sixth to seventh, and Barton College went from seventh to eighth.

Queens (N.C.) College (4^th), Anderson (S.C.) College (5^th), and Lees McRae (9^th) remained status quo.
