HICKORY, N.C. — Presbyterian College women’s golfers, freshman Anna Lee Abernathy and junior Kate Ulrich competed in the Seventh Annual Lenoir-Rhyne Lady Bear/Accusport Intercollegiate this past week. The tournament was the first spring competition for the Lady Blue Hose.
Abernathy, a native of Buford, Ga., finished in 31st place after shooting rounds of 100 and 92 for the tournament. Ulrich, a native of Southern Pines, N.C., placed T-44th at the Lady Bear Intercollegiate after shooting identical rounds of 101.
The Lady Blue Hose return to action on March 27-28 at the J. Ralph Hargett Invitational held at the Eagle Chase Golf Club in Marshville, N.C.
