PC’S ABERNATHY TIED FOR 36TH AFTER FIRST ROUND
OF THE ANDERSON COLLEGE INVITATIONAL
ANDERSON,
S.C. — Presbyterian
College freshman women’s golfer Anna
Lee Abernathy (Buford, Ga.) shot an opening round 92 to
place tied for 36th at the Anderson College
Women’s Invitational held at the Brookstone Meadows Country
Club on Monday.
Paige
Haverty of Catawba shot a 4-over 75 to take the
first-round lead and help give the Lady Indians a 1-shot lead
over host Anderson College.
The second round will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
