Cometto Tabbed To SAC Second Team
ROCK HILL,
S.C. – Presbyterian College’s Kristen Cometto was named
to the All-South Atlantic Conference women’s golf second
team it was announced by league officials on Thursday.
A freshman from Lexington, S.C., Cometto led the Blue Hose
women’s golf team this season with a scoring average of
82.28.
Cometto had a low round of 76 and garnered five top 10
individual performances over the course of the year.
Cometto’s best finish was a sixth place finish at the Ralph
Hargett Invitational at the end of March.
The 2007 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Women’s Golf
Tournament begins Monday at Lake Hickory Country Club at
Catawba Springs in Hickory, N.C., with 36 holes of
competition. The final 18 holes will be Tuesday.
