Presbyterian’s Adair Selected South Atlantic Conference
Women’s Soccer Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, SC  The South Atlantic Conference announced today that Presbyterian College’s  Jessi Adair was selected as this week's women's soccer player of the week announced today.

Adair, a 5-5 junior forward from Decatur, Ga., led the Blue Hose to a 2-0 record on the week.  She guided Presbyterian to a 3-0 win over Mars Hill College and a 2-1 win over Gardner-Webb University.  With the win over Mars Hill, the Blue Hose moved to 4-1 in the SAC. 

Adair totaled seven points in this week’s two victories.  She had one goal and one assist against Gardner-Webb on Friday and two goals against Mars Hill on Wednesday.  

This season, Adair has accumulated 19 points on eight goals and three assists while leading the Blue Hose to a record of 6-4-1 overall. 

For her career, Adair currently has 71 points on 25 goals and 21 assists.  This places her tied for fourth place on the Presbyterian women’s soccer all-time scoring list, second in career assists and eighth in career goals scored.

Player of Week is voted on among the eight sports information directors in the South Atlantic Conference.
