TUSCULUM'S ESCHMANN SCORES GAME-WINNER TO LIFT PIONEERS
 TO 2-1 WIN OVER PRESBYTERIAN IN WOMEN'S SOCCER

CLINTON, SC - Tusculum's senior midfielder Kelsa Eschmann (Cincinnati, OH) scored a pair of goals including the game-winner to defeat Presbyterian College 2-1 in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action Saturday night.

Presbyterian took an early 1-0 lead thanks in part to an unassisted goal by junior forward Jessi Adair (Decatur, GA) at the 37:37 mark. The match entered halftime with the Blue Hose holding their slim 1-0 lead even though Tusculum outshot Presbyterian 7-4 on shots on goal.

Tusculum evened the match at 1-1 when Eschmann scored off an assist from teammate freshman midfielder Franmarie Gregg (Farifax, VA) at the 52:50 mark.

Eschmann scored the game-winner at the 85:24 mark off an assist from Gregg and sophomore forward Rachel Barron (Cincinnati, OH).

Presbyterian College senior goalkeeper Lara Johnson (Hilliard, OH) went the distance allowing both goals while tallying six saves. Pioneers' keeper junior Jennie Murphy (Fairfield, OH) allowed one goal while picking up five saves.

Tusculum improves to 6-1-0 overall and 3-1-0 in the SAC while Presbyterian falls to 3-3-1 overall and 2-1-0 in the SAC.
