SOCCER TEAMS LISTED ON NCAA NATIONAL STATS
CLINTON, S. C. — Presbyterian College soccer programs are listed in several categories in the latest NCAA Division II national statistics.
PC's men's team is ranked 26th in team goals against average (1.03), 10th in shutout percentage (0.44), and 24th in winning percentage (0.719).
Individually, senior forward Derek Knapp (Orange, Tex.) is ranked 24th in points per game (2.0) and 20th in goals per game (0.87).
PC's women's team is ranked 9th in shutout percentage (0.63), and 30th in winning percentage (0.75)
The men’s team (11-5-1) were upset by Newberry College last Tuesday 2-1 in double overtime in the first round of the South Atlantic Conference Tournament.The women's team (14-4-0) defeated Wingate University yesterday 3-1 with sophomore midfielder Megan Smith scoring a hat trick. With the victory, the Lady Blue Hose advance to the semi-finals to face Catawba College in Salisbury, N.C. at 3 p.m.
