LADY
BLUE HOSE PREPARES FOR SAC TOURNAMENT
NEWBERRY,
S.C. – The Presbyterian College Lady Blue Hose women’s
soccer team will travel to Newberry, S.C. on Tuesday to take
on Newberry College in the opening round of the 2004 Food Lion
South Atlantic Conference Tournament. Game time is set for 2:00
p.m.
PC will be
looking to avenge an early season 4-2 home loss on September 22 to the Lady
Indians. The match
was tied 2-2 before Newberry scored two goals in the final six
minutes to seal the victory.
With a victory, the Lady Blue Hose would advance to the SAC Tournament semifinals, which will be held at PC’s Martin Stadium on Friday.
