LEFFLER NAMED TO CLINTON,
S.C. – Presbyterian College women’s soccer players Megan
Smith (Greenville, S.C.) and Lindsay
Leffler (Rocky Mount, Va.)
have been named to the 2004 NSCAA All-Southeast Region second
and third teams announced Monday afternoon. Smith, a 5-7,
junior midfielder led the Lady Blue Hose with 26 points, which
included a team-leading 10 goals, which also ranked seventh in
the South Atlantic Conference and six assists.
The All-SAC first teamer was also ranked sixth in the
league in goals per game (0.65) and seventh in points per game
(1.53). Leffler, a
5-7, sophomore defender led the Lady Blue Hose defense to six
shutouts and was tied for fourth on the team with two goals. She
was also named to the All-South Atlantic Conference first team. PC finished the season with an 8-7-2 overall record and a 3-3-1 record in SAC play.
