PC win
exhibition match over Aiken Burn 5-1
CLINTON, S.C. -
The Presbyterian College opened the 2004 season with a 5-1
victory over the Aiken Burn Club team in exhibition action
Tuesday night.
| The Lady Blue
Hose wasted little time getting on the board as Claire Joyce
took a pass from Megan Smith and knocked it past Allysa Turner
to give PC a 1-0 lead. Jennifer Merritt gave the Lady Blue Hose
a 2-0 lead with a goal 6:29 into the game. |

Missy Dorando
gave PC a 3-0 lead before the Burn could get on the board with a
goal by Ellena Bethmann at 49:55.

Joyce
finished out the scoring for Presbyterian with goals at 52:45,
assisted by Kristen Ryer, and 84:41 to finish the game with
three goals. |
| PC will take
the field again Tuesday, August 31, as they travel to
Spartanburg to take on USC-Upstate in a 7:00 p.m. contest. |
