Cannon Second Nationally In Assists-Per-Game
CLINTON, S.C. –
Presbyterian’s Lytle Cannon remained second nationally in
assists-per-game in the latest NCAA Division II women’s soccer
statistics.
Cannon averages
right at one assist per contest, acquiring five assists in the
Blue Hose’s five games. She is tied with two others for second
place in the category in Wilmington’s (Del.) Colby Bugda and
Tampa’s Samantha Robinson.
South Atlantic
Conference foe Lincoln Memorial’s Heloisa de Oliveria is first
nationally in the department with an average of 1.13 per
contest.
Cannon’s five assists
on the season thus far place her only six off the school season
record in assists, which was set at 11 in 1990 by Christian
Lindstrom.

Hose teammates welcome Newberry to Edens Field at Martin Stadium
on Wednesday, Sept. 20. The game is set to kickoff at 7 p.m.
