BLUE HOSE WOMEN‘S TENNIS INCH UP TO TWO TO
NO. 21 NATIONALLY

CLINTON, S.C. — The Presbyterian College women’s tennis team moved up two more spots to No. 21 nationally in the latest Fila Collegiate Division II National Rankings released April 28 as PC heads into the NCAA Division II Women’s Tennis Southeast Regional on May 4-6 hosted by Lynn University.

The Blue Hose (18-3, 7-0 SAC) were ranked 23rd in the last poll which came out on April 7.  Presbyterian is the only South Atlantic Conference schools ranked in the poll. 

PC is 3-3 this season against teams ranked in the Fila Collegiate Division II National Rankings.

The Blue Hose return to action on Friday, May 5, when PC takes on No. 4 Lynn at 9:00 a.m. in the first of two semifinals.  The other semifinal match will feature No. 13 Florida Gulf Coast University versus No. 15 Nova Southeastern University at 11:30 a.m.  The semifinal winners will advance to the regional championship on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
