PRESBYTERIAN ADVANCES TO FOOD LION SAC WOMEN’S TENNIS TOURNEY CHAMPIONSHIP WITH 5-1 VICTORY OVER EAGLES
JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. — The top-seeded Presbyterian College women's tennis team advanced to the championship match of the 2006 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Women’s Tennis Tournament with a 5-1 win over fourth-seeded host Carson-Newman College Saturday afternoon.
After the Blue Hose won two of
three doubles matches, they claimed wins at No. 2, 3, and 4
singles. Presbyterian, who won the SAC Tournament
title last season, will face
The Blue Hose improve to 17-3,
while the Lady Eagles fall to 9-9.
