LADY BLUE HOSE SWEEP SOUTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE

Presbyterian head coach Bobby McKee was named Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year after leading the Blue Hose to the league title, the school’s tenth overall. He wins the award for the second consecutive year and fifth time overall. |
| Presbyterian’s Abby Diminich was named SAC Freshman of the Year after going 11-3 in singles (5-1 SAC) and teaming with junior Catherine Bankhead to post a 10-3 record (5-1 SAC) at No. 1 doubles. Diminich was also named to the All-SAC second team this year. |

| Conference champion Presbyterian led the way with four All-Conference selections, including three on the First Team. Joining Brown on the first team was Bankhead and fellow junior Lisa Moyer. | |

Bankhead, a native of Amarillo, Tex., compiled a 7-10 mark at No. 1 singles this season including a 6-1 mark in league play. She also earned SAC Player of the Week honors this week. |
| Moyer, a native of Florence, S.C., posted a 14-1 mark in singles (5-0 SAC), while playing a majority of her time at the No. 3 and 4 flights this season. She teamed with fellow Florence, S.C. native, sophomore Brittany Lanford at No. 2 doubles to compile a 10-2 overall mark including a 5-0 record in league play. In addition, Moyer was twice named SAC Player of the Week this season. |

Brown, a junior from Gaffney, S.C. (Gaffney HS), has a 3.85 GPA as a chemistry major. She is a three-time All-SAC selection and has helped lead the Blue Hose to the past two conference championships. She posted a 12-5 overall record (7-0 SAC) at No. 2 singles this spring and teamed with sophomore Kari Fuller (Suwanee, Ga.) at No. 3 doubles to post a 9-3 overall record (3-1 SAC) and earned SAC Player of the Week honors one this season. |
Brown was named to the 2005 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team, and is a member of the Sigma Kappa Alpha and Tri Beta honor societies. She is recognized as a campus and community leader, serving and chair of the Presbyterian College and SAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and is the conference’s national representative. She is a volunteer with the Good Shepherd Organization and the Humane Society and helps with youth tennis clinics.
