          PC Dominates Lenoir-Rhyne In 9-0 Victory On Wednesday

CLINTON, S.C.
- The No. 34 Presbyterian women’s tennis team swept the doubles and singles matches with an impressive 9-0 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday afternoon at Templeton Courts.

With the win PC improves to 4-3 on the season and 2-0 in South Atlantic Conference play. The Bears drop to 0-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.

PC's Brittany Lanford improved to 5-1 on the season with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 victory in No. 5 singles over Lenoir-Rhyne's Bekah Rhoney.

Freshman Virginia Waldron improved to 2-1 on the year as she downed Amanda Hunsucker in straight sets 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 singles. Lauren Brown defeated the Bear's Kate Meiners at No. 1 singles with a score of 6-0, 6-0 to improve 3-3 on the season. 

The Lady Blue Hose next welcomes Bethune-Cookman to Templeton Courts on Thursday afternoon, March 7 at 2 p.m.
