PC's Lanford Chosen SAC Women's Tennis Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Brittany Lanford of Presbyterian College has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week announced league officials Tuesday. 

Lanford, a junior from Florence, S.C., went 1-0 in singles and doubles play as the Lady Blue Hose swept a pair of matches over NCAA Division I opponents Western Carolina and UNC Asheville. 

The South Florence High School graduate posted a 6-1, 7-5 win over WCU's Amanda Massey at No. 5 singles and then followed that with an 8-6 pro set win in doubles action in PC's 5-2 victory over UNC Asheville.

The SAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week is selected by a vote of the league's eight sports information directors.
