Presbyterian's Lanford Chosen SAC
Women's Tennis Player Of The Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Brittany Lanford of Presbyterian
College has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's
Tennis Player of the Week announced league officials
Tuesday. Lanford earns this honor for a second straight
week.
Lanford, a junior from Florence, S.C., posted a straight set
win over Catawba's Nikiah Knox (6-0, 6-0) in Presbyterian's
conference opening win over the Lady Indians. Lanford and
teammate Lisa Moyer posted a No. 3 doubles win over Knox and
Meri Cartmill.
The SAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week is selected by a
vote of the league's eight sports information directors.
