PC’s Moyer Named Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Lisa Moyer of Presbyterian College has been named the South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week announced league officials Tuesday. Moyer is the third PC women’s tennis player to earn the accolade this season.

Moyer, a senior from Florence, S.C., went 3-0 in singles and doubles action last week as the No. 28 Lady Blue Hose won all three of their matches and captured the South Atlantic Conference championship.

The South Florence High School graduate recorded No. 2 singles wins against Tusculum and Wingate to claim Presbyterian's 11th league title. She was also perfect in doubles play including an 8-0 victory at the second flight with teammate Brittany Lanford.

The SAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week is selected by a vote of the league's eight sports information directors.
