            PC Women's Tennis Downs North Georgia 8-1 On Sunday

CLINTON, S.C.
- The No. 34 Lady Blue Hose defeated North Georgia College & State University 8-1 in women’s tennis action on Sunday afternoon.

With the victory PC improves to 8-5 overall and remains undefeated at 4-0 in the South Atlantic Conference. North Georgia drops to 2-10 on the season and remains 1-5 in conference play. 

PC's Brittany Lanford improved to 8-3 on the season with a dominating 6-2, 6-1 victory in No. 3 singles over North Georgia's Maria Dreaden.

Virginia Waldron improved to 4-1 on the year as she downed Catherine Martin in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles. Megan Davis defeated North Georgia's Jenny Bridges at No. 6 singles with a score of 6-2, 6-0 to improve 2-1 on the season. 

The Lady Blue Hose are back in action on March 30 when they match up against North Alabama at 3 p.m. in Jefferson City, Tenn.
