                PC Dominates Slippery Rock In 9-0 Victory On Friday

CLINTON, S.C.
- The No. 34 Presbyterian women’s tennis team swept the doubles and singles matches with an impressive 9-0 victory over Slippery Rock on Friday afternoon at Templeton Courts.

With the win PC improves to 5-4 on the season and 2-0 in South Atlantic Conference play. The Rock drop to 8-3 on the season and remain 0-0 in conference play.

PC's Brittany Lanford improved to 6-2 on the season with a dominating 6-4, 6-0 victory in No. 6 singles over Slippery Rock's Chrissy Rhodes.

Kari Fuller improved to 5-3 on the year as she downed Lara Rizzi in straight sets 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5 singles. Lauren Brown defeated the Rock's Kayla Blackburn at No. 1 singles with a score of 6-3, 5-7 (10-7) to improve 5-4 on the season. 

The Lady Blue Hose next welcomes Newberry to Templeton Courts on Tuesday afternoon, March 19 at 2 p.m.
