Lady Blue Hose Claim Their Third Straight SAC Regular Season Crown

CLINTON, S.C. - The 28th ranked Presbyterian women's tennis team wrapped up their third straight outright South Atlantic Conference Championship with an impressive 9-0 victory over Wingate University Saturday afternoon. The conference championship marks the 11th title in program history.

With the win the Lady Blue Hose move to 12-5 overall and a perfect 7-0 in conference play as Wingate falls to 2-16 and 0-6 in the SAC.

PC cruised through all three doubles matches without losing a single game. The duo of Brittany Lanford and Lisa Moyer improved their record to 10-2 overall with an 8-0 win at No. 2. doubles over Wingate's Pierce Dillard and Ashley Keefer.

In singles play, Lauren Brown finished an undefeated season in the league by defeating Sydney Pallesen in straight sets at No. 1 singles. Lisa Moyer, Abby Diminich, and Kerri Fuller also capped a flawless SAC campaign with wins at second, fourth and fifth singles flights, respectively.

On the day PC lost just eight games, with only Wingate's Pierce Dillard claiming more than one game.
