Releases 2007-08 Schedule
CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College
men’s basketball coach Gregg Nibert and PC Director of
Athletics Dr. William B. “Bee” Carlton unveiled the
program’s inaugural NCAA Division I men’s basketball
schedule on Monday. The 2007-08 Blue Hose men’s basketball
schedule will feature contests with teams from 15 different
NCAA Division I conferences including four teams that played
in the NCAA Tournament and four teams represented in the NIT
postseason tournament this past season.

All-Conference team it was announced by the league office on
Monday. Dixon (Marietta, Ga.) was chosen to the first team,

Blue Hose Win Season-High Fifth Straight
HARROGATE, Tenn. – Presbyterian had
four players in double figures and the Blue Hose defeated
Lincoln Memorial 73-57 in South Atlantic Conference men’s
basketball action on Wednesday evening at Tex Turner Arena.
The victory is the season-high fifth consecutive for
Presbyterian (15-7, 8-3). It also marked the first time ever
that Presbyterian had claimed a win on the hardwood against
LMU as they had fallen in their first two meetings all-time.

– Presbyterian led from beginning to end in a 27-point 70-43 win over
rival Newberry in South Atlantic Conference men’s basketball action on
Saturday afternoon at the Templeton Center. Presbyterian was led the in
scoring column by Bryan Bostic (Norcross, Ga.) and Sean Dixon (Marietta,
Ga.). Bostic was 4-for-5 on his three-pointers in the game and 5-for-8
overall on his shots. He finished with a game-high 15 points. Dixon was
just 3-for-9 from the field in the game, but finished the game 7-for-8
from the charity stripe.

PC Remains
Unbeaten At Templeton
CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian continued its dominance
at the Templeton Center in the 2006-07 season and won
its third straight game with a dominating 65-42 victory
over Mars Hill in South Atlantic Conference men’s
basketball action on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Hose
never trailed in the victory that propelled them to 2-0
in SAC play and 9-4 overall. Presbyterian is now 6-0 in
the friendly confines of the Templeton Center in the
2006-07 season. The Blue Hose have also now won 14
straight home games and are 31-2 at home since the
outset of the 2004-05 season.

Montevallo In FSC Holiday Classic
LAKELAND, Fla. -
Despite shooting a sizzling 68.2% from
the field in the second half,
Presbyterian had to come from behind for
a 10-point 82-72 victory over No.10
Montevallo (Ala.) in the Florida
Southern Holiday Classic on Saturday
night. The Blue Hose fell behind early
in the second half after a 14-6 run by
Montevallo, but Bryan Bostic's three
pointer at the 10:46 mark put the Blue
Hose back in front 54-52 and PC never
relinquished the lead. The points were
three of Bostic's career-best 19.

LAKELAND, FLA.
– Florida Southern’s first buzzer beater of the
season wasn’t quite at the buzzer, but it was
close enough. It also resulted in a win as Rob
Eldridge hit a tough jumper with 5.5 seconds to
play, lifting the Moccasins to a 67-66 win over
Presbyterian. The Moccasins held an
11-point lead with nine minutes to play before

CLINTON, S.C.
– Presbyterian ended the 2006
year undefeated at home in men’s basketball
action with a 64-59 victory over Erskine at the
Templeton Center on Saturday evening. The Blue
Hose end the year 13-0 at home, including 5-0
this season. The win was PC’s 30th
win in the last two-plus years at home as the
Blue Hose since the outset of the 2004-05 season
have gone 30-2 at home.

Carter collected a game-high 15 rebounds and the

Centennial Center on Wednesday evening.

Torrell Martin’s game-high 19 points and eight
rebounds led Winthrop to a 76-51 home victory
over visiting Presbyterian College on Wednesday
night at the Winthrop Coliseum. Travis
Sligh showed that he could hang with the big
boys as Sligh finished the night as the Blue
Hose’s leading scorer with a career-high 18
points off the bench, just one point shy of
matching Martin’s game-high. The Columbia,
S.C. native was flawless on the court, going
6-of-6 from the floor.

Past Allen as Epperly Has Career Night
CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian’s Brian
Epperly netted a career-best 15 points and the
Blue Hose bested Allen University 86-54 at the
Templeton Center on Monday evening.
Epperly’s 15 points usurped his previous career
high of 11 set in a game against Wingate last
season. The Roanoke, Va. native only missed
three shots in the game, going 6-for-9 from the
field and a perfect 3-for-3 from the charity
stripe.

– Presbyterian picked up its second consecutive
victory and remained undefeated at 2-0 as they
downed North Greenville 81-58 at the Templeton
Center on Tuesday evening. The 2-0 start is the best
start for the Blue Hose since the 2001-02 season
when they commenced the year by going 4-0 before
falling in overtime to USC Aiken in the fifth game
