Presbyterian Wins 2007 Food Lion
South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Title
MARS HILL, NC -
Top-seeded Presbyterian College defeated No 2 seed Tusculum
College, 5-0 to win the 2007 Food Lion SAC Tournament Crown.
The event was played at the Hart Tennis Complex on the
campus of Mars Hill College. Michael Nicol was named the SAC
Tournament Most Valuable Player. PC improved to 17-5 on the
season while the Pioneers fell to 15-6 on the season.

Presbyterian Advances to Food
Lion South Atlantic Men's Tennis Tournament Finals
MARS HILL, N.C.- In the second
semifinal match, No. 1 Presbyterian College prevailed 5-1
over the No. 4 seed, Catawba College. The Blue Hose also
swept double play to help themselves seal the win. PC
improved to 16-5 on the year while Catawba fell to 19-6 on
the season.

Men’s Tennis Freshman of the Year it was announced by the

SAC MEN’S TENNIS ACTION
CLINTON, S.C. –
Presbyterian College remains undefeated in South Atlantic
Conference (SAC) play with a 9-0 blanking of Mars Hill
College in men’s tennis action on Saturday afternoon at
the Templeton Tennis Center. The Blue Hose improve to
5-2 overall and 2-0 in the SAC as PC won all the singles
matches in straight sets. Mars Hill falls to 2-4 and
0-1 in the league.

MEN’S TENNIS TOPS CATAWBA, 8-1, IN SAC OPENER
SALISBURY, N.C. –
Presbyterian College knocked off host Catawba College, 8-1, in
South Atlantic Conference men’s tennis action on Friday
afternoon at Johnson Tennis Center. The Blue Hose
improve to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in the SAC, while Catawba
falls to 4-3 and 0-1. PC claimed all three doubles wins
and singles points at the top five positions. The
Indians picked up its lone point at #6 as Drew Ramsey
earned a three-set win.

DAVIDSON Secures
4-3 Win Over #25 Presbyterian
DAVIDSON, N.C. —
Junior John Bolton (Portland, Ore.) clinched the
match for the Davidson men's tennis team with a straight
set 6-0, 6-0 win over Presbyterian College's freshman
Andrew Lee and the Wildcats earned the 4-3 win on
Friday afternoon.

CLINTON, S.C. – The eagerly awaited start of the
spring portion of the Presbyterian College men’s tennis
2005-2006 schedule arrives tomorrow when the Blue Hose
travel to Davidson, N.C. to square off against the
Wildcats of NCAA Division I Davidson College at the
Knoblach Indoor Center. Head coach Patric Hynes
exclaimed, “Just looking forward getting started. We’ve
been practicing for a month now and the guys are ready
to go.”
