Voyles Hired As Assistant
Softball Coach At PC
CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College
head softball coach Dave Majeski announced the hiring of
Annie Voyles as an assistant coach on Thursday. Voyles comes
to the PC softball program from Florida Atlantic University
where she played for softball pitching legend and hall of
famer Joan Joyce and just recently graduated with an
Elementary Education degree.

Dave Majeski announced the program’s inaugural NCAA Division
I softball schedule on Monday. The 2008 PC softball schedule

Majeski announced the addition of Rachel Parker to the PC
Softball Program on Monday. Parker is transferring to PC
from Belmont Abbey College and will be a redshirt sophomore
with the Blue Hose after sitting out her freshman year with

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Presbyterian enters the 2007 Food
Lion SAC Softball Tournament as the fourth seed and will
host fifth-seeded Catawba in the opening round of the event
at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 19 at the PC Softball
Complex. The game will mark the opening of the tournament.

PC Splits SAC Doubleheader With Mars Hill
MARS HILL, N.C. –
PC split a conference twinbill with Mars Hill on Friday
afternoon at Ponder Park. The Lions won the first game 4-3
in extra innings and then PC won the nightcap, 4-0.
MHC is now 30-18 overall and 4-6 in the SAC while PC took
their record to 25-12 on the season and 5-5 in the league.

Carson-Newman stayed atop the South Atlantic Coast
Conference standings by taking two games from the Lady Blue
Hose on Tuesday afternoon at the PC Softball Complex.
Presbyterian fell 4-0 in the first game and succumbed to a
Carson-Newman rally in the top of the seventh inning to lose

SC – Presbyterian took two from Lander Monday afternoon to
improve their record to 4-0 on the young season. The Lady
Blue Hose opened up the two-game set with an 11-3 victory
that was called after six innings due to the eight run
lead. PC then rode the momentum into the second game to
claim a 3-1 victory and their second consecutive

Kayla and Krysten Handy will enter the program from
