CLINTON,
S.C. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team reported for
its first NCAA Division I preseason volleyball camp and its
second preseason camp under Chris Belshe on Tuesday. The
Blue Hose will hold their first practice of the 2007 season
at 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the Templeton Center.

named to the 2006 ESPN The Magazine Academic
All-District III College Division Volleyball
Team as announced by CoSIDA officials.
Gill garnered a spot on the third team. This is
her first selection to the all-district team.

Hollrah Chosen To SAC All-Freshman Team
ROCK HILL,
S.C. – PC’s Julie Hollrah was chosen to the
South Atlantic Conference Volleyball All-Freshman
team it was announced by the league office on
Friday. Hollrah finished her freshman season with a
team-best 387 kills. The Glenwood, Md. native
averaged 3.12 kills-per-game.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness
Month and head coach Chris Belshe announced
today that the Blue Hose have designated

avenged their 3-1 setback on September 22 Friday

Presbyterian College. Kelli Sorensen had 12

Catawba defeated visiting Presbyterian in three
games in South Atlantic Conference volleyball
action on Saturday afternoon at Goodman Gym.
The Catawba Indians won for the seventh straight
time, taking the match by the scores of 30-21,
30-20 and 30-26. Catawba improves to 12-8
overall and 7-2 in the SAC, while the Lady Blue
Hose fall to 7-18 and 1-8.

The
Wingate University volleyball defeated visiting
South Atlantic Conference opponent Presbyterian
College in four games on Friday night in Cuddy
Arena on the Wingate campus. The Bulldogs won
the match 28-30, 30-24, 30-19 and 30-21. The
Bulldogs improve to 17-4 overall and 8-0 in the

The two-day 2006 Armstrong Atlantic State
University/Chatham Orthopaedics Pirate Classic

Atlantic State and were swept by the Pirates, 30-27,

two-day Ramada Limited Azalea Classic hosted by
Valdosta State University. The Blue Hose

decision to Saint Leo University before winning
a five-game match (30-28, 30-24, 26-30, 16-30,
15-13) against the host Lady Blazers.
